- Did you know that cigarette smoke contains up to 4,ooo chemicals??
- That chemical is a type of toxic. So, it is bad to us and also to the marine life…
- Cigarette butts takes up to 5 years to break down. :O
Then how is cigarette connected to the Marine life, you may ask. It’s simple; if we throw our cigarette in the not proper place, not in the trash bin, it could be carried by the river to the sea. When the cigarette gets in the sea, it could kill the animals. Because the cigarette it self contains chemicals in it. The toxin is dangerous for the animals. If the animals by mistake swallow/eat the cigarette, it means that the animal eat the toxin also.
This is a bunch of styrofoam that we made in the life. See how styrofoam did we make…. Please don’t use styrofoam. Please just reuse it.
This is me and my group members explaining to people about our topic and making them aware of it. I use power point to explain my information to them. Me and my friend Rania make the power point together. Because were focusing on the same thing that is trashes. My subject focus is trashes in the sea and Rania’s subject focus is trashes in the river.
This what I mean by i will sell my pins. This is me and my group members doing our fund raising and make people aware of our topic. From the right, she is my mentor Ms.Puti and besides her is Aaqil and beside him is Rania and last of all it’s me.
At that day it was a success. Many customers come to our booth and buy our products and listen to our explanation. I feel proud to my self…. 🙂
I named this tree the plastic tree. because instead of leafs there are only plastics and trashes. In my opinion the plastic could be there because it is blown by the wind to the tops of the trees…
In this picture you can see how dangerous trashes/a leftover can be to the sea animals. This is the proof. A seal is trapped with some pipes, fishing nets, etc…
HOW DANGEROUS !!!
This is the trashes in Kuta Beach in Bali. there is a lot of trashes as you can see in this picture…
