Did you know that plastic bottle are non degradable??? IT IS!! It takes a very long time to be degraded. Especially glass it takes more than 90 years! There are very many plastic bottles. We have to do something so the plastic bottles are getting lesser, not just stay in the dump!!!

 

You could recycle, reuse and reduce. Recycle is you make trash to something useful.  Reduce is we use another thing instead of something. Reuse is we use something a lot of times.

STY-STYROFOAM

       Facts:

  • Styrofoam is only use just a few times. Usually it’s only used 1 time.
  • After Styrofoam is used 1 time it is thrown away.
  • Styrofoam is not a degradable trash.
  • Styrofoam is used in: cups, home packaging, etc.

 

Problem: The problem is that there is too much Styrofoam and it is degradable.

 

So what can I do?   …

  • Did you know that cigarette smoke contains up to 4,ooo chemicals??
  • That chemical is a type of toxic. So, it is bad to us and also to the marine life…
  • Cigarette butts takes up to 5 years to break down.   :O

 

Then how is cigarette connected to the Marine life, you may ask. It’s simple; if we throw our cigarette in the not proper place, not in the trash bin, it could be carried by the river to the sea. When the cigarette gets in the sea, it could kill the animals. Because the cigarette it self contains chemicals in it. The toxin is dangerous for the animals. If the animals by mistake swallow/eat the cigarette, it means that the animal eat the toxin also.

EXPLAINING & EXPLAINING

This is me and my group members explaining to people about our topic and making them aware of it. I use power point to explain my information to them. Me and my friend Rania make the power point together. Because were focusing on the same thing that is trashes. My subject focus is trashes in the sea and Rania’s subject focus is trashes in the river.
